There are 4 BANKS, Lloyds, Midland, National Westminster, and Barclays. Lloyds was the first bank to open in 1919, and is the only main branch. The others are sub-branches. Nine people work in Lloyds and there are 3000 accounts. They have 2 safes. There is a keyboard in Verwood to a computer in London. They are open from 9.30 a.m. until 3.30 p.m. but the staff work until 5 p.m. All sorts of people come to the bank who help people to start businesses.
